Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Requirements & Qualifications

• Active New York NP or PA license
• Active Medicare Provider ID
• Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience
• Experience in urgent care settings
• Pediatrics experience

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide in-office urgent care services for pediatric and adult patients
• Conduct virtual visits as needed in compliance with telehealth regulations
• Diagnose and treat common acute conditions, including URI, UTI, flu/COVID, infections, rashes, and GI issues
• Prescribe medications according to clinical guidelines and telehealth requirements
• Determine when escalation or specialist referral is required
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks
