Summary:

 

In this role, you will support daily legal operations and assist attorneys in providing guidance to internal stakeholders on contracting, regulatory, litigation, compliance, and governance matters.


You will partner with internal clients to address legal and business needs, collaborate with legal leadership to ensure contracts align with organizational policies and risk standards, and progressively take on greater responsibility and independence.


You will also provide practical legal support, manage contract workflows, and contribute to efficient and compliant business operations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft and review contracts, amendments, and other legal documents, reviewing redlines and providing standard responses and comments, where appropriate.
  • Provide advice and consultation to internal stakeholders and business teams regarding contract processes, standard contract terms, negotiations, strategies, and other legal matters.
  • Act as the liaison between business teams and other back office teams and the legal team.
  • Support organizational adherence to legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., reporting mandates, compliance requirements).
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to determine internal controls necessary to properly mitigate standard legal and regulatory risks.
  • Monitor post execution processes, archive contracts and other legal documents.
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.



Qualifications:

 

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of contracts/agreements terms and conditions required.
  • Experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal environment preferred.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate comprehension of legal procedure requirements and manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency desired.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and other legal tools.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal clients and external partners.

The ideal candidate will join us in a hybrid workplace model (3 days in office) at our office located in Irving, TX.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
