Yard Technician

Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
* Personal skills must include mechanical ability, analytical thinking, and work organization. This position requires knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, heavy construction/farm and material handling equipment, repair methods and records. This individual must have the ability to prioritize the work to be done and focus on it, possess a high sense of urgency, to be thorough with the work being done, to offer his/her best knowledge of the situation to be used, project integrity and credibility to the company.
* Must have the ability to oversee loading and unloading of heavy equipment on trucks.
* Must be willing to keep an equipment yard clean and maintained.
* Must maintain a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position.
* Performing any other duties as may be required
Education & Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Must be able to read and write English
* Two or more years' experience in heavy construction equipment; preferred
* Must be forklift certified or pass a certification course
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods standing, squatting, bending, or stetting.
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
* Must be able to pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty) and pre-employment drug screening
Compensation & Benefits:
