What You Will Contribute:
Badger Meter is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s energized by the challenge of finding exceptional talent in competitive technical and engineering markets. If you’re a strategic talent advisor who thrives on building strong partnerships, shaping hiring strategies, and elevating the candidate experience, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact across our U.S. operations.
What You'll Do
Own and drive recruiting strategy
Partner closely with hiring leaders to deeply understand business needs, team dynamics, and future talent gaps
Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies using market insights, competitive intelligence, and creative outreach techniques
Lead searches for hard-to-fill and strategic roles across multiple disciplines and leadership levels
Elevate candidate experience & employer brand
Serve as a brand ambassador—articulating what makes Badger Meter a compelling place to build a career
Engage and nurture both active and passive candidates through a thoughtful, high-touch experience
Ensure a seamless and professional process from first contact through offer acceptance
Deliver high-impact hiring outcomes
Conduct structured screens to evaluate skills, experience, and culture alignment
Influence hiring decisions through consultative guidance and data-driven recommendations
Lead offer development and negotiation in partnership with hiring managers and HR
Shape and improve TA processes
Contribute to and lead initiatives aligned to employer branding, candidate experience, and recruiting process improvement
Stay ahead of talent trends, market conditions, and emerging sourcing strategies to drive continuous improvement
Mentor and develop junior team members or interns as needed
What You'll Bring
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting technical, engineering, or manufacturing roles
Proven ability to fill complex, hard-to-find skill sets through creative sourcing strategies
Strong consultative approach—comfortable influencing and advising senior stakeholders
Expertise across sourcing channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, social platforms, networking, etc.)
Experience using structured interview techniques to assess both technical capability and cultural alignment
Data-driven mindset with the ability to adapt strategies based on market trends
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a focus on technical or engineering recruitment
Proven ability to fill complex, hard-to-find skill sets through creative sourcing strategies
Strong consultative approach—comfortable influencing and advising senior stakeholders
