Pharmacy Technician I – Retail Pharmacy Job ID: Location Fort Worth, TX | 76104 Compensation & Schedule •Pay - $19-$22 Hourly • 13-Week Contract | Potential Extension • Retail Pharmacy Hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 Midnight, 7 Days a Week • Must be available for evening shifts and weekend rotations • Start Date: 08/2026 ROLE IMPACT The Pharmacy Technician supports licensed pharmacists by assisting with prescription preparation, customer service, inventory management, and daily pharmacy operations. This role is essential in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients and families while maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist pharmacists with filling, packaging, labeling, and preparing prescription medications • Greet patients, process prescription drop-offs and pickups, and provide outstanding customer service • Answer incoming calls, assist with prescription questions, and coordinate refill requests • Accurately count, package, and prepare medications, including controlled substances • Maintain perpetual inventory and perform required controlled substance documentation • Restock counting cells and pharmacy inventory while maintaining a clean, organized workspace • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, medication audits, and performance improvement projects • Support department education, regulatory compliance, and Standards of Behavior • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or GED • Minimum of one (1) year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience • Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration OR Texas Pharmacy Intern License • Strong math, medical terminology, and communication skills • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and rotating schedules CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Retail Pharmacy Management Systems • Prescription Processing Software • Microsoft Office Applications • Telephone & Customer Service Systems • Inventory Management Systems REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED • Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern License • Minimum one year of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience • Local candidates only • Background Check • Drug Screen • Ability to work evening shifts and rotating weekends By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone Staffing and its affiliates and contracted partners.
