Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Oncology experience required. Full telemetry; reading and interpreting required.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Oncology and general med-surg combination; hospice inpatient program is also housed here. Titrates heparin, Cardizem, and other cardiac drips. CPAP/BiPAP on unit; RT manages. Nurses provide nebulizer treatments, breathing treatments, and trach suctioning. Central monitoring unit. Central line and port care, including accessing and sterile dressing changes.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). Holidays rotate with permanent staff. No call.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Within the Med Surg/Tele service line, in rotation with permanent staff. Primary to St. Joseph Medical Center; if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
