ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for mechanically inclined problem-solvers who enjoy fixing equipment, learning new skills, and helping keep production running. Whether you're an experienced Maintenance Technician or have transferable maintenance experience from another industry, we offer the opportunity to grow your technical skills through hands-on experience, training, and career development.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Maintenance Mechanic
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems
- Perform electrical diagnostics up to 480V
- Support automation, robotics, and production equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs as needed
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate maintenance standards, expectations, and performance goals to the team
- Partner with production and other departments to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and improve processes
Perform other related and assigned duties as needed to support facility operations
Education & Experience
- Technical training in engineering, electronics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field from a vocational school, technical college, or junior college is a plus.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and maintenance processes.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics in a manufacturing setting.
- Food processing or food manufacturing experience.
- Robotics, automation, or controls training.
- Heavy electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience supporting automated production equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, and twist as needed
- Lift, push, pull, or carry objects over 25 lbs.
- Work in a general manufacturing environment with high standards for quality and safety
