Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team within our integrated, not-for-profit health system. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate, high-quality images and compassionate, patient-centered care. You will supervise and mentor sonographers, coordinate schedules, support workflow efficiency, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer promotes best practices, continuous learning, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement to enhance outcomes for patients and the communities we serve.
