Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Overview:

We are partnering with a growing law firm in West Hollywood that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and contribute to month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and account reclassifications.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation schedules.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to support management reporting and decision-making.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and related accounting records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and financial data accuracy.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes by preparing supporting schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor requests.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
