Full job description

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance.

Load and unload trucks and racking systems.

Pick and stage orders accurately for shipment.

Comfortable operating Electric or Propane equipment and changing propane tank

Ability to use a RF scanner and computer

Comply with company policies and legal standards.

Forklift

When working in a Forklift Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

  • Independently operate a seated, stand-up, or cherry picker-type lift, depending on the position based on best safety practices and supervisor direction.
  • Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
  • Loading and unloading inventory in a safe and responsible manner
  • Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
  • Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
  • There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Some jobs may require safety (steel-toed) boots
  • If you have your certification, please be sure to bring it with you
