About the Opportunity

MCL Talent Partners is recruiting on behalf of a Birmingham-area client expanding both its sales and leadership teams.

This is an entry-level, client-facing sales opportunity with two long-term career paths: representatives can focus on building their own book of business or pursue a leadership path focused on recruiting, developing, and supporting a team.

No previous industry or management experience is required. The client provides structured training, one-on-one mentorship, licensing support, and ongoing professional development.

Representatives begin by learning the client process, products, and sales systems while working directly with individuals and families. Those interested in leadership can take on additional responsibilities in representative development, coaching, and team performance as they progress.

What You'll Do

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and explain available benefit and protection options

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships

• Manage appointments, follow-up, and daily sales activity

• Participate in structured sales training and one-on-one coaching

• Learn the systems and processes used to build and manage a client base

• Develop recruiting, coaching, and team-development skills for those pursuing the leadership track

Two Career Paths

Sales Production Track Focus on developing your individual client base, strengthening your sales skills, and growing personal production.

Leadership Management Track Develop additional skills in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and supporting representatives while working toward increased team responsibility.

You do not need previous management experience to pursue the leadership track. Advancement is based on development and performance.

• Organized with strong follow-through

• Comfortable meeting and working with clients face-to-face

• Interest in professional growth, sales, and/or developing others

• Willingness to complete required state licensing

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, management, recruiting, athletics, or other people-focused roles can be helpful but is not required.

Training Development

The client provides:

• Structured onboarding and field training

• One-on-one mentorship

• Sales and client-development coaching

• Licensing support

• Ongoing professional development

• Leadership and team-development training for representatives pursuing the management track

Compensation

• Performance-based compensation plus performance bonuses

• Target first-year earnings: $80,000 - $100,000+, depending on individual production and performance.
