Join a creative and tech-forward design team making content for the Go-to-market team including The Forge, Accenture’s flagship innovation and experience center for the federal government. We’re looking for a Visual Design Lead with experience leading creative teams, developing concepts and brand identities, and overseeing the visual execution of campaigns, digital products, and presentations, ensuring alignment with both client and federal standards. This candidate would need production experience and the ability to design across a variety of mediums (i.e., digital, print, animations, production cycle and materials). You will be successful in this role if you are a self-starter with the ability to think future-forward on design strategy and leverage AI tools to accelerate the design process. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing in Figma, Adobe Creative suite, and proficiency in creating video animations.
The work:
- Lead the design team to create impactful and effective content-driven and design-woven illustration and its elements for the many, different sized screens and surfaces
- Establish the visual tone, mood systems, and design language go-to-market deliverables
- Mentor junior designers, reviewing creative work for quality assurance, and managing design timelines
- Pitch creative ideas to agency stakeholders, offering clear rationales on how visuals achieve strategic objectives
- Create high-level concepts, storyboards, original illustrations, and scalable design systems
- Adopt and incorporating generative AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, etc.) into the creative process to optimize workflows
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Here’s what you need:
- 5+ years of experience designing products or services
- Experience leading the design process along with design teams
- Ability and desire to solve complex product design problems and the strategy skills to deliver best-in-class solutions
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present findings, and articulate design rationale
- Ability to work iteratively and collaborate with the team on initial concepts, visual design, and prototypes
- Advanced knowledge of Creative tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD, After Effects (plus))
- Experience utilizing AI throughout the design process and AI code-generation tools to rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production-ready designs
- Motion and UX/UI design experience is a plus
