Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring an Operations Manager to support our Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN.  An Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operation of a specific group of departments within the Distribution Center, as well as ensure service levels, performance levels, quality and human resources are meeting daily business requirements.

Schedule

  • Primarily Day Shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

What You'll Need:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in a high volume distribution center supervising at least 25 or more employees
  • 2 years experience working with a Warehouse Management System
  • 6 months work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

What You’ll Do:

  • Manages and operates a group of departments within budgeted payroll guidelines.
  • Coaches, counsels and develops a group of operations supervisors.
  • Controls and manages costs for all assigned departments.
  • Analyzes staffing needs and delegates work based on volume requirements in assigned departments.
  • Meets established turnover objectives.
  • Ensures customer services levels and CPU goals are met.
  • Manages progressive counseling process and ensures all associates in assigned departments are treated equally.
  • Establishes back-up strategies in by cross-training, analyzing volume projections and problem solving.

Hiring Salary Range: $97,201 - $123,251k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
