WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Own nVent’s enterprise lead path to revenue strategy and governance

  • Architect the end‑to‑end lead lifecycle, from anonymous engagement through MQL, SQL, opportunity, and marketing‑influenced and marketing‑sourced revenue.
  • Establish global standards, definitions, SLAs, and decision frameworks that ensure consistency across regions, business units, and platforms.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Digital IT, Enterprise Marketing, and Segment Marketing to align funnel stages, routing logic, scoring models, and conversion expectations.

Build and scale a Marketing Operations & Analytics Center of Excellence

  • Develop governance, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and operating models that enable marketing teams to execute efficiently and consistently.
  • Create training, playbooks, and enablement programs that elevate operational maturity across global marketing teams.
  • Lead a high‑performing team responsible for campaign operations, lead management, analytics, and performance insights.

Lead enterprise marketing analytics strategy

  • Define how marketing performance is measured across channels, campaigns, segments, and geographies.
  • Establish dashboards, KPIs, attribution models, and reporting frameworks that translate data into actionable insights for executives and business leaders.
  • Partner with Enterprise Data & Analytics, Finance, Sales, Sales Ops, Digital IT, Enterprise Marketing, and Segment Marketing to ensure data quality, platform alignment, and consistent measurement across systems.

Drive operational excellence across platforms and processes

  • Collaborate with Digital IT (technical platform owners), Sales Ops, and Marketing Technology (business product owners) to optimize MarTech systems supporting lead flow, analytics, and campaign execution.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives that improve data capture, routing, scoring, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure marketing operations processes scale effectively as nVent expands globally.

Enable teams without owning day‑to‑day execution

  • Influence and guide global marketing teams to adopt operational best practices, analytics frameworks, and lead management standards.
  • Provide strategic direction while empowering regional teams to execute within a consistent enterprise model.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior marketing leaders, helping them make data‑driven decisions that accelerate growth.

Align demand generation, paid media, and analytics efforts

  • Partner with segment and regional marketing, and agency teams to ensure campaigns are built on strong operational foundations and measurable KPIs.
  • Integrate lead path strategy with paid and organic efforts to maximize conversion and pipeline impact.
  • Support enterprise demand and lead‑generation objectives through operational rigor and insight‑driven optimization.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, demand generation operations, or revenue operations within a matrixed or global enterprise environment is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years leading teams in marketing operations, analytics, or lead management is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and governing enterprise lead lifecycles, funnel definitions, routing logic, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing analytics, attribution, KPI frameworks, and performance measurement.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams on MarTech platform improvements, data quality initiatives, and digital transformation.
  • Fluency with marketing and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo/Eloqua/Pardot, Power BI/Tableau, Google Analytics, ABM platforms, data enrichment platforms).
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex operational and analytical concepts into clear, executive‑ready insights.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving marketing operations and analytics practices.
  • B2B experience working within an industrial manufacturer preferred.

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$172,900.00 - $257,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
