Work Environment

The role of a Physical Therapist Assistant at our facility involves working onsite in a hospital environment that is both dynamic and professionally rewarding. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured but flexible setting for your work. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Administering therapeutic interventions as outlined in the physical therapist's plan of care to ensure effective recovery processes.
• Educating patients on the correct execution of rehabilitation exercises and functional activities tailored to their specific needs.
• Continually monitoring patient safety and progress during treatment sessions, adapting methods as required to maximize outcomes.
• Accurately documenting patient care and progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintaining effective communication with supervising physical therapists regarding any changes in patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Creating a positive and encouraging environment that motivates patients of varying ages and backgrounds throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong organizational mindset.
• A genuine passion for orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and committed patient care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates eager to start their careers. Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT, NetHealth, or Fusion is also advantageous. Strong candidates will demonstrate an interest in manual therapy, performance training, and other wellness programming techniques, along with experience working with diverse patient demographics, including post-surgical clients, athletes, and the elderly.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, ranging from $85,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, in addition to a robust benefits package, which includes:
