Work Environment

The role of a Physical Therapist Assistant at our facility involves working onsite in a hospital environment that is both dynamic and professionally rewarding. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured but flexible setting for your work. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering therapeutic interventions as outlined in the physical therapist's plan of care to ensure effective recovery processes.
  • Educating patients on the correct execution of rehabilitation exercises and functional activities tailored to their specific needs.
  • Continually monitoring patient safety and progress during treatment sessions, adapting methods as required to maximize outcomes.
  • Accurately documenting patient care and progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Maintaining effective communication with supervising physical therapists regarding any changes in patient conditions or responses to treatment.
  • Creating a positive and encouraging environment that motivates patients of varying ages and backgrounds throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Certification in CPR/BLS.

Preferred Experience
