Join a precision manufacturing team where quality means more than checking a box. We’re seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to program and perform dimensional inspections on complex, tight-tolerance machined components in a low-volume manufacturing environment.


CMM Programmer Benefits and Compensation:

  • $35–$40/hour, based on experience
  • 1st shift: 6:24 AM–2:54 PM with flexible hours
  • Overtime at 1.5x from 40–50 hours and 2x after 50 hours

CMM Programmer Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of dimensional inspection experience
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Experience inspecting precision-machined components to tolerances of 0.0002" or less
  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators, and other precision inspection tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot dimensional and inspection issues

Must Haves:

  • Hands-on CMM programming experience, not solely CMM operation
  • Ability to independently program, set up, and run CMM equipment
  • Experience developing inspection programs for complex machined components
  • Ability to identify and communicate out-of-tolerance conditions to machining and engineering teams

CMM Programmer Preferred Background & Skills:

  • PC-DMIS programming experience
  • Hexagon CMM or portable measuring arm experience
  • Optical inspection experience
  • Aerospace or other tight-tolerance precision manufacturing background
