Position Overview

At Fortis Motion LLC, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Tracy, California. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy services under the direct supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, maintaining a strong focus on individual patient needs.
• Assist in implementing customized treatment plans designed to enhance patient functioning, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress through careful assessment, adaptability in treatment approaches, and real-time feedback.
• Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary team to ensure the execution of best practices that achieve optimal patient recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on prescribed exercises and therapeutic techniques to ensure sustained improvement after therapy sessions.
• Foster a welcoming and motivating environment that encourages trust and tenacity among patients, driving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current California PTA license or in the process of obtaining it.

• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently as necessary to meet patient needs.
• CPR certification is required; willingness to complete certification if not currently held.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who possess at least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly those familiar with outpatient rehab environments. Experience working with diverse caseloads, including orthopedic, post-operative, neurological, and sports rehabilitation, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Fortis Motion LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
