  • 24-hour weekend call -- Friday 3 pm to Monday 7 am
  • Average 10 hospital patients per physician per day
  • 8 - 12 kids typically on consult service per weekend
  • Consult-only service -- no primary admissions
  • Patient mix: adolescents, pediatrics, and newborns
  • BLS and PALS certification required
  • X-ray interpretation preferred
