Job Description
Job Summary
The Inventory Manager is an individual contributor responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient flow of materials across warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role oversees inventory transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and stock control activities to ensure material availability and operational efficiency. The position is primarily office-based, with periodic work in warehouse environments to support inventory management activities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Perform daily inventory transactions and reconciliations.
- Verify received materials meet order requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to support production and customer demand.
- Maintain shipment, invoice, and inventory records.
- Support inventory forecasting and planning activities.
- Coordinate inventory movement between warehouse and manufacturing locations.
- Track and document inventory receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Manage aging, excess, and obsolete inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze inventory data.
- Respond to inventory-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory performance.
Job Requirements
- Experience with SAP inventory management functions required.
- Government Property Management experience is a plus.
- 2-4 years of inventory control, inventory management, or materials management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of inventory control, reconciliation, and stock management processes.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able and willing to travel domestically approximately 5%.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
- Able and willing to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds assisted.

Salary Range:
$96,600.00-$128,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
