About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Houston, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $27.50 Per hour
• Schedule: Must be available 6 days a week for work

Job Details

• Route Type: Local, 12-13 hour trip
• Freight / Load Type: General merchandise, live load/unload
• Equipment: Dry Van
• Handling: Mostly Drop & Hook, some touch freight

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
• Transport general merchandise in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Endorsements: Hazmat & TWIC Card required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
