Title:

Senior Scheduler

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Serve as the Government's lead schedule analyst supporting a major Army Aviation acquisition program through Milestone C, production transition, and fielding activities.

· Develop, maintain, and assess Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 and other Government-approved scheduling tools.

· Conduct independent schedule assessments to identify critical path activities, near-critical paths, float erosion, resource constraints, and execution risks affecting program milestones.

· Analyze contractor schedule performance, baseline integrity, network logic, and schedule health to identify emerging risks and recommend corrective actions before impacts occur to cost, schedule, or technical objectives.

· Evaluate manufacturing, supplier, test, software, logistics, and airworthiness activities to assess schedule impacts and support proactive risk mitigation.

· Perform schedule diagnostics including critical path analysis, baseline versus current assessments, schedule health checks, margin consumption analysis, duration compression studies, and what-if scenario modeling.

· Assess contractor recovery plans, corrective action plans, and schedule mitigation strategies to determine feasibility and likelihood of meeting program objectives.

· Integrate schedule, technical, manufacturing, logistics, and Earned Value Management (EVM) data to provide comprehensive program execution assessments and recommendations.

· Conduct monthly EVM analysis, including Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), variance analysis, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) assessments.

· Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and risk management forums by providing schedule analysis, performance trends, and decision support.

· Develop and brief executive-level reports, dashboards, and recommendations to Program Office leadership regarding schedule performance, forecasted outcomes, and emerging risks.

· Maintain schedule change control processes and assess impacts resulting from changes to program cost, schedule, technical baselines, or contract scope.

· Conduct recurring schedule reviews and deep-dive analyses to ensure program execution remains aligned with acquisition, production, and fielding objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs), ACAT I programs, Army Aviation programs, or similarly complex efforts.

· Minimum 8 years of experience developing, analyzing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.

· In lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 18 years of experience is required.

· Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6.

· Demonstrated experience supporting acquisition programs through development, test, production, and fielding phases.

· Significant experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), including schedule and cost variance analysis, EAC development, and performance reporting.

· Experience evaluating contractor schedule performance and providing independent Government assessments and recommendations.

· Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, risk management, change control, and integrated program management.

· Ability to analyze complex program data and develop actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· U.S. Citizen.

· Active Secret clearance required.

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience supporting FLRAA, Future Vertical Lift (FVL), Army Aviation, aerospace, aircraft development, or production programs.

· Experience supporting programs approaching or executing Milestone C.

· Experience evaluating schedule recovery plans for troubled or underperforming acquisition programs.

· Experience conducting DCMA 14-Point Assessments and advanced schedule health analysis.

· Experience integrating supplier, manufacturing, logistics, and test schedules into a program-level IMS.

· Experience briefing Program Managers, SES personnel, General Officers, and other senior stakeholders.

· PMI-SP, PMP, EVP, or similar program controls certification.
