Pediatric Physical Therapist Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist
- Valid Colorado licensure as a Physical Therapist
- One year of experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- One year of experience overseeing and training staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education
Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to children (ages 0-18) with special needs
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans
- Encourage patients throughout their treatment to support their optimal functioning
- Supervise and mentor staff, offering training and guidance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
