Journeyman Licensed Plumber

Leib Plumbing is seeking a dependable, skilled Licensed Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is experienced in residential and/or commercial plumbing, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring all work meets local codes and company standards. Responsibilities * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and piping.
* Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
* Perform routine maintenance and emergency service calls.
* Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications when required.
* Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, safety concerns, and code compliance.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repairs, estimates, and recommendations.
* Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with local plumbing codes.
* Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
* Work collaboratively with office staff and fellow technicians to deliver outstanding service. Qualifications * Valid journeyman plumbing license with the state of Michigan
* Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with water heater installation and repair.
* Experience with sewer and drain cleaning.
* Backflow certification (preferred but not required).
