We are looking for the right candidate who has dental assisting/dental office management experience. Are you ready to move on from a clinical setting, but still utilize your dental knowledge? The Dental Support Specialist (Dental Assistant - Office Administration) is responsible for supporting clinical field team members by ensuring administrative duties are cross-referenced and completed by the assigned deadline.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure timecards are updated and approved
- Approve expenses according to company guidelines
- Complete dental chart reviews including EMR checklist, coding, and notes
- Conduct EMR reporting reviews to provide details to the field team manager
- Perform other duties as necessary
Education & Training Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years' experience preferred
- Dental office experience required

- Planning/organizing - the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
- Quality control/Attention to detail - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance
- Adaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance
- Able to work in team environment
- Ability to lift 15-20 lbs
Physical Effort & Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
- Substantial time is spent working on a computer
Location:
- Dental operations are based in Overland Park, KS at our Corporate Headquarters.
