  • Mon - Sun, 8 am - 5 pm with overnight call 5 pm - 8 am
  • 13 - 14 patients per shift -- inpatient rounding with admissions
  • Inpatient gastroenterology hospital coverage
  • 15-minute call response time -- 1:3 call ratio, no 24-hour call shifts
  • Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, liver biopsy required
  • PEG, esophageal dilation, small bowel biopsy, Blakemore tube required
  • Ongoing coverage potential
  • Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
