Job Description:

  • Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
  • Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
  • Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care. Documents all phases of patient status while in care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
  • Participation in S.T.A.B.L.E. program for nurses working with newborns preferred; may obtain post-hire within six months.
  • Participation in C.O.R.E. program for nurses providing primary NICU care; may obtain post-hire when the program is offered.


Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]



Work Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in an area of NICU Nursing [Preferred]




Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]
  •  Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$31.96 - $50.62
