Production Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in color concentrates, is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: New Hope, MN

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift- 230pm-11:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

Night shift (Sunday night to Friday morning, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment to produce high-quality color concentrates.
• Monitor production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Weigh ingredients accurately and manage material handling according to recipes and specifications.
• Perform routine equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Document production data, complete logs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in plastics, colorant manufacturing, or related industrial operations.
• Experience with extrusion, blending, or mixing processes preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle physical tasks up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment.
