Full job description

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Anesthesiologist to join their team. This new acute care facility, expected to be completed in October 2022, will provide residents of Lancaster and York counties with increased access to Penn State Health's expertise and specialty services. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care and contributing to a growing healthcare system focused on community access to quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $525,000 annually
  • Sign on Incentive: $100,000
