Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2560 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (Cath/EP lab) required. Competent in pulling of sheaths. ICU/Cardiac Stepdown experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with all cardiac diagnoses, with emphasis on procedural patients (Cath, EP lab, Structural Heart) preferred. Previous EP lab experience preferred. Moderate sedation experience preferred.

Unit Details: Preps and recovers all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients. Procedures performed on unit: sheath pulls, groin management, cardioversions, radial access site management, GA recovery. Uses IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes, and Zoll.

Shift & Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week: 2 shifts 0600-1830 and 1 0800-2030 shift per week. No weekly call or weekends.

Floating Requirements: Rarely asked to float to IR Pre/Post; flex based on volume.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
