Field Service Engineer, CNC and PLC Controls

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Field service across the NJ/NYC region)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, plus overtime (typically $10,000 to $20,000 more) and company vehicle

Service control systems and electronic drives across the region for a company with a 40-year reputation for quality.

Must-Haves

• Field service experience
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, VFDs, and control systems
• Panel wiring experience
• Ability to read schematics
• 18-month technical certification or Associate’s degree
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good driving record for a company vehicle
• U.S. Citizen with clear English communication skills
• Must live within commuting distance of East Hanover, NJ
• Ability to pass a technical skills test, background check, and drug screen

What You’ll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, and service control systems and electronic drives at customer sites
• Diagnose issues with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor controls
• Read and interpret schematics to resolve equipment faults
• Perform panel wiring and system repairs
• Serve as part of the regional field service team

Nice-to-Haves

• Component-level electronics troubleshooting
• CNC controls experience

Compensation and Benefits

• $65,000 to $85,000 base salary, based on experience
• Overtime potential of $10,000 to $20,000 per year
• Company vehicle
