Special Education Teacher (Adaptive Curriculum) leading instructional design and delivery for elementary students with diverse learning needs. This 36-week contract in Bethel, NC offers competitive compensation and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement adaptive curriculum strategies tailored to diverse elementary education needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and progress
Provide individualized instruction to students requiring specialized educational approaches
Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting instructional methods accordingly
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with parents and staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field, or equivalent qualification
Valid teaching certification in North Carolina with special education credentials
Minimum 1 year of specialized education experience
Ability to work with students requiring adaptive instructional strategies
Strong communication skills
Pass background checks
