 PRACTICE SPECIFICS

·       Join a well-established level 1 orthopedic trauma program that is part of a large collaborative multi-specialty group

·       Well established large collaborative multi-specialty orthopedic practice composed of 16 orthopedic surgeons and 11 NP/PAs.  Sub-specialties include trauma, hand, adult reconstructive, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle, pediatric orthopedics, ortho oncology, medical orthopedics/sports medicine, and podiatry

·       Dedicated orthopedic trauma room 7 days a week.  Surgical blocks are available for outpatient trauma cases.

·       Dedicated trauma APP's manage consults and floor work.

·       Medical orthopedics department will manage most non-operative fractures.

·       Level 1 trauma center

·       Population demographics favorable to large practice

·       Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center is northern Minnesota’s largest hospital, with 344 beds. As one of Essentia’s Catholic facilities, we strive to provide holistic healing for all human life. St. Mary’s Medical Center is not only a hospital, but also a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 24-hour emergency care and critical care.

·       Comprehensive rehabilitation program

·       Service area approximately 500,000

• Fellowship in Trauma

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

·       COMPENSATION: $622,119.  Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.

·       Compensated call

·       150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul
