Principal Purpose of Position:
Serves as the #2 manufacturing leader and strategic partner to VP Manufacturing. Responsible for driving integrated performance across multiple business units and ensuring alignment across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and financial outcomes within a large-scale industrial environment.
Organizational Scope
Second-in-command for manufacturing operations
Direct oversight of three General Managers
Leadership across 1,000+ employee manufacturing organization
Cross-functional integration with finance, HR, engineering, and operations
Key Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing strategy in partnership with VP Manufacturing
Lead performance across GM-led business units
Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
Support financial planning, forecasting, and cost management
Lead Lean transformation and continuous improvement
Oversee capital projects and operational initiatives
Develop leadership bench strength and succession plans
Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders
Education and/or Training:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Relevant Work Experience:
12+ years manufacturing leadership experience
Experience in large-scale industrial environments
Proven leadership of multi-unit or complex operations
Experience managing senior leaders
