Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound services across its patient-centered health system. This role performs and oversees comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate imaging and timely, compassionate care. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors technologists, and collaborates closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support strong clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, upholding safety and regulatory standards, contributing to quality improvement, and supporting education and development in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
