Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in crafting and implementing personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
  • Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, offering motivation and support to promote their physical well-being.
  • Educate patients on exercise techniques, body mechanics, and individualized home exercise programs to facilitate their healing process.
  • Administer treatment modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of Physical Therapists.
  • Monitor and document patient progress through regular evaluations of range of motion, strength, and functional abilities, ensuring adjustments are made to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain an organized treatment area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are ready and accessible for therapy sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to create a seamless care experience and optimize patient rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Provide emotional and motivational support to patients, fostering a positive rehabilitation environment and assisting with behavioral challenges as they arise.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and rights are respected throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
