Maintenance Technician

Our client in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Building Operations Department supporting property management, tenants, and facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, strong mechanical skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to travel from site to site. — all essential for success in this role.

What will you be doing?

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on building systems, following safety rules and procedures.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues.
• Highly Preferred Fire Suppression experience.
• Respond to service requests, tenant concerns, and emergency calls (24/7 on-call rotation).
• Conduct property inspections, complete maintenance logs, and manage work orders.
• Assist with construction projects, tenant improvements, and capital renovation coordination.

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• Minimum 5 years of commercial maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel site to site.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• HVAC certification preferred (but not required).
