Senior Conversational AI Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Conversational AI Designer with strong experience designing complex chat and voice conversational experiences and innovative AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will combine conversational design expertise with a solid understanding of LLMs, bot platforms, prompt engineering, conversation logic, and user experience strategy.

This role will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate user and business insights into effective, scalable conversational experiences while maintaining consistent voice, tone, and brand standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design complex and engaging chat and voice conversational experiences across digital platforms.
• Develop innovative conversational AI solutions using LLMs and modern conversational technologies.
• Create conversation flows, dialogue, logic, prompts, and interaction patterns aligned with product and business strategies.
• Apply prompt engineering best practices to improve conversational quality and user experiences.
• Ensure conversational experiences consistently follow established voice, tone, and brand guidelines.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate insights and requirements into conversational solutions.
• Identify and solve complex design challenges while demonstrating strong ownership and decision-making.
• Evaluate and refine conversational experiences based on user needs, business goals, and performance insights.
• Contribute to the development of innovative conversational AI design standards and best practices.
• Present design concepts, workflows, and solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience designing innovative conversational AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, conversational AI, bot platforms, and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to craft conversations and logic aligned with strategy, user needs, and voice, tone, and brand standards.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to translate complex requirements and insights into clear, intuitive conversational experiences.
• Digital portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant conversational AI, chat, or voice design projects.
