Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:
* Ensure quality standards are being met
* Work to develop the business by taking on new projects and implementing changes as needed
* Develop and implement systems to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain communication with all stakeholders within the business
* Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
* Oversee daily waste intake, handling, and shipment
* Ensure waste is properly compacted and transferred to trailers or containers
* Monitor equipment (compactors, loaders, scales) and schedule maintenance
* Manage the traffic flow of incoming and outgoing trucks
Staff Supervision
* Supervise operators, scale attendants, and laborers
* Create schedules and assign duties
* Train employees on safety procedures and equipment use
Safety & Compliance
* Enforce OSHA and environmental regulations
* Maintain records for inspections and permits
* Conduct safety meetings and incident investigations
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of solid waste operations and environmental regulations

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
* Familiarity with heavy equipment and facility operations
* Basic computer and reporting skills
* A combination of office work and outdoor, hands-on supervision
* Exposure to noise, odors, weather, and heavy machinery
