Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant specialty experience within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrub, right and left heart catheterization, rotablator, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Acute monitoring, room circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR preferred.
Required Credentials: DC locations: must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (see JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure. MD locations: must have compact license or MD license.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiac Cath Lab performing right and left heart caths, stents, angioplasty, FFR, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart cases.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required: 1 to 2 call shifts during the weeknight, Monday-Friday and 3-24 hours weekend call shift per month.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
