Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2010 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Parking permit options and payment terms: WMC is $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days for 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage and is available monthly. WB is $196.20/year and requires annual payment upfront; it covers the 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays and West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service. CXS is $393.96/year and requires annual payment upfront; it covers the 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays and Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7. WB and CXS permits are not available as monthly permits.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: You will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
