Used Car Technician | Automotive Reconditioning Technician | Auto Repair Technician | ASE Technician
CMA is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair pre-owned vehicles before they are placed on the dealership lot. This role is ideal for an automotive technician with dealership experience who enjoys a variety of mechanical repairs and takes pride in delivering retail-ready vehicles. The position was requested as an immediate hire within Fixed Operations and focuses on used vehicle inspections and reconditioning.

Requirements:
What You'll Do
* Inspect and evaluate trade-in and pre-owned vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and maintenance-related concerns.
* Perform repairs and maintenance needed to prepare vehicles for retail sale.
* Work closely with Service and Sales teams to identify quality inventory opportunities.
* Maintain accurate repair documentation and inspection records.
* Ensure vehicles meet dealership quality and safety standards before delivery.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
* Automotive dealership experience preferred.
* Trade school training in Automotive Technology preferred.
* ASE Certifications are a plus.
* Virginia State Inspection License is a plus.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
