2nd Shift - 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Monday through Friday
Starting pay $22.90/hr. + $1.00 shift differential

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is now hiring for Assembler Sensor Manufacturing associates for our manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and test (including set-up), of complex combustible, electro-chemical or infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Some troubleshooting required.
- Picking material out of the warehouse.
- Performing visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
- Completing and maintaining relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Ability to:
- read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
- understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
- perform standard software operations including SAP.
- regularly perform work that requires magnification.
- concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
- infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- infrequently stand in a stationary position.
- use power and hand tools, and custom tooling.
- work in a team environment and effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.
- organize and prioritize work and operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes, lab coat, sleeves, gloves, and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
- Strong manual dexterity requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
- Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months manufacturing and/or other related experience (if lacking minimum months of experience, we will train you through our temporary agency before full time employment).
Experience Preferred:
- Past soldering experience (training provided if no experience established).
