Full job description

WellStar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered breast ultrasound imaging in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role performs diagnostic and screening breast ultrasounds, assists radiologists with image-guided procedures, and ensures accurate documentation within EMR and PACS. The Breast Sonographer upholds safety and infection prevention standards, educates and supports patients through often anxiety-provoking exams, and collaborates with radiology, oncology, and surgical teams. PRN status offers scheduling flexibility while providing access to advanced technology, ongoing education, and a mission-driven, community-focused health system.
