We’re Looking For: We are seeking a Scheduling and Logistics Specialist with experience in route optimization software, geographical dispatch planning, and operational data analytics. You will be part of the Operations team responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and managing inspector workflows across field locations. You will be involved in creating daily inspector schedules, applying route optimization tools, and partnering with field managers to balance workloads. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in logistics management, data-driven resource allocation, and cross-functional problem solving. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in routing and logistics.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to establish, implement, and optimize daily Inspector route structures and dispatch plans.
  • Utilize route optimization software and analytical data in coordination with the Dispatch team to drive operational efficiencies and communicate schedule updates.
  • Direct and manage daily routing activities within established time, cost, quality, and resource constraints.
  • Perform periodic data management reviews and route assessments to identify opportunities for continuous optimization.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for resolving Inspector concerns, disputes, and complaints in a professional manner, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally across all levels of the OPENLANE organization to promote positive employee relations, teamwork, and strong field participation.

Who You Will Work With: Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will collaborate with Dispatch Teams, Field Managers, and Field Inspectors on a daily basis.

  • Partner with IT and Operations Management on system requirements and routing software enhancements.
  • Interact across various organizational levels within the OPENLANE structure.

Must Have’s:

  • 3+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated experience in routing, logistics, or operational scheduling.
  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and specialized route optimization/GIS software.
  • Operational Availability: Must be able to work full-time shift hours, which may fall outside standard business hours.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel periodically for training and operational alignment.

Nice to Have’s:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth geographic routing knowledge within assigned coverage territories.
  • Prior experience within the automotive remarketing or field inspection industries.
