Full job description

Our client, a leading property management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician/Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting property operations and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician/Engineer

Location: Sunny Isles Beach, FL

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 1st (6am-3pm) 3rd (3:30pm-11:30pm)

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks across various property systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work areas and equipment.
  • Assist with repairs, replacements, and upgrades of property fixtures and systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
  • Certification or completion of seminars for specialized training preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic carpentry skills and operate maintenance equipment safely.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more than 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with residents, management, and team members.
