Processing Technician II

<p><b>Volt is immediately hiring for 3rd Shift Processing Technician II w/Forge environment setting (is a must)</b> i<b>n Rancho Cucamonga, CA</b></p> <p><b>As a Processing Technician II, you will: </b></p> <p><b>Records critical “in process” parameters in forge environment including:</b></p> <ul> <li>Optical pyrometer readings for tooling and material (on and off die) temperature.</li> <li>Furnace soak times and forging times as well as ramp-up time.</li> <li>Extracts rolling parameters and tonnage data from specific ring-roll mills/presses.</li> <li>Reports any “in process” non-conformances to the Quality Department and other appropriate parties.</li> <li>Maintains and archives documentation as per company procedures.</li> <li>Ability to interpret blueprints and measure parts in accordance with blueprints.</li> <li>Must have correctable vision to meet the requirements of company work instructions and procedures.</li> <li>Interface with other departments.</li> <li>Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.</li> <li>Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and quality and procedures.</li> <li>Performs furnace pyrometry activities (i.e. SAT’s, furnace inspection, etc).</li> <li>Support calibration of furnaces, tools and optical pyrometers.</li> <li>Perform Quality Forge and Forge Furnace Audits</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a full-time, Contract to hire opportunity.</b></p> <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma.</li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule: 3rd Shift - 09:00 PM – 5.30 AM</b></p> <p><b>Pay Rate Range: $28 to $30 per hour</b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
