Location: Mount Pleasant, MI

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
No call, no weekends

Coverage: Scheduled only
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
Pay Range: $220-230/hr (call to discuss structure)

Case Mix

Heavy Ortho (including total shoulders starting February)
Eyes (mostly topical with light sedation; minimal blocks)
Mixed Endoscopy cases with MAC
ENT for pediatrics (PALS required; conservative case selection)
Blocks required for Ortho and some eye cases

Department Details

Support staff: Typically 2 providers/day; occasionally 3 midweek
EMR: HST
Average case time: 75 min (general), 20 min (eyes)
Early start: Rooms open at 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM
Rarely late days; most cases finish before 4:00 PM
