Organizational & Leadership Development Manager
$130,000 - $160,000 / year
Trulite is looking for an Organizational & Leadership Development Manager!
The Organizational & Leadership Development Manager will build and execute an enterprise-wide people development strategy for Trulite, partnering with the Head of Transformation to strengthen leadership, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration company-wide. This is a hands-on builder's role based near our Atlanta headquarters or another Trulite facility, with travel of approximately 25-50% across the U.S. and Canada.
WHO YOU ARE
You understand manufacturing environments and can set strategy and personally execute it. You believe developing people is one of the most direct ways to improve business performance, and you bring the commercial and financial acumen to connect training priorities to real business data. You build practical solutions from the resources you have rather than reaching for a generic off-the-shelf program, and you earn credibility easily on the shop floor, in a sales meeting, or in a finance review. You take initiative and follow through with minimal direction.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Own the people development strategy for Trulite, identifying critical skill gaps and building a practical plan to close them
- Assess capability needs across operations, sales, finance, customer service, and corporate functions
- Define what good leadership looks like at each level of the organization
- Advise the Head of Transformation and executive team on people-related risks to performance and growth
- Build a practical curriculum covering technical knowledge, leadership fundamentals, sales and customer skills, financial literacy, and cross-functional collaboration
- Design programs for how Trulite employees actually work, across shifts, locations, and functions
- Expand the front-line manager program to build coaching, feedback, and performance management habits
- Grow sales capability programming in partnership with commercial leadership
- Build financial acumen training for operational and commercial leaders
- Create onboarding programs for newly acquired companies
- Identify and manage external facilitators or content partners where needed
- Run development programs end to end, including planning, scheduling, materials, facilitation, and follow-up
- Pilot programs at select sites before scaling, adjusting based on real-world results
- Partner with site and functional leaders to build development into existing workflows
- Identify and develop strong internal operators who can train their peers
- Track whether programs are changing how people actually work, not just completion rates
- Build check-in and reinforcement processes so skills are retained after programs conclude
- Report progress regularly to the Head of Transformation and relevant leaders
- Connect development results to retention, promotion readiness, quality, sales performance, and leadership bench strength
SKILLS YOU BRING
- 5+ years of organizational development experience, including direct experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial business
- Bachelor's degree required; background in instructional design, organizational development, operations, or a related field preferred
- Ability to travel 25-50%
- Training certifications a plus
- Demonstrated track record building and leading people development programs across multiple functions
- Experience building programs for a multi-site organization
- Commercial and financial acumen to build relevant content and translate business data into training priorities
- Hands-on experience designing, delivering, and evaluating development programs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through with minimal direction
- Experience supporting organizational development during acquisitions or transitions preferred
