Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring excellent image quality, accurate documentation, and compassionate, patient-centered care. You will mentor sonographers, support training and competency, and collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer also helps refine protocols, supports quality improvement, and promotes a safe, compliant environment across our Georgia-based care settings.
