About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class A Regional Drivers to support our client’s operations in the Lexington, North Carolina area. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers steady regional work, reliable scheduling, competitive weekly earnings, and comprehensive benefits.

Pay & Schedule

  • Average pay: $1,600+ per week
  • Pay rate: $0.56 per mile plus stop pay, detention, layover, and per diem
  • Schedule: Sunday through Friday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
  • Home time: Home by Friday evening
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Employment type: Temp to perm

Job Details

  • Handling: Touch freight with tailgate delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL Class A equipment on regional routes.
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
  • Perform required handling tasks, including heavy touch freight and tailgate delivery.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
  • Ability to perform touch freight and tailgate handling duties.
